Each lozenge contains two active ingredients: 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol (1.2mg) and Amylmetacresol (0.6mg), which are antiseptics that help to kill bacteria and viruses in the throat and mouth. The orange flavour provides a pleasant taste. Strepsils work by providing a local antiseptic action to help fight infections and soothe the throat. They are suitable for adults and children over 6 years old. Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2-3 hours as needed, not exceeding 12 lozenges in 24 hours.
